NexCyx [Nex-ix] is a Barbadian Pop/Hip Hop band created in 2004. The group is composed of bassist Kris Clarke, guitarist Russell Padmore, keyboardist/producer André Clarke, and singer/rapper Mahalia Phillips. In May 2011, they released their first EP entitled "Queen". consisting of 5 tracks and 1 bonus track.[1] 2011 also saw a return to SXSW and several internet accolades including MTV Iggy's 'Artist of the Week'[2] and Rockwired.com 'Artist of the Month' for March[3]
