I'm a graduate student in entomology, writing my thesis on the vector relationship between the cucumber beetle Acalymma vittatum and the bacterial wilt Erwinia tracheiphila. Fun, fun, fun. I've killed time browsing Wikipedia for over a year, and surprisingly it only now (August 2005) occurred to me to search for cucumber beetles. Of course there were no articles, so I've member-ized myself to officially create them.
