Ame Henderson is a Canadian choreographer and performance artist currently based in Toronto.[1] She was the founding Artistic Director of Public Recordings before the company evolved into a shared leadership of four artistic associates including herself, Sandra Henderson, Jeremy McCormick, and Evan Webber.[2] Since December 2013, Henderson has been Associate Dance Artist at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa [3].

Her early works include Blue**Disco (2002), memories and statements (2004), Manual for Incidence (2005), /Dance/Songs/ (2006), Open Field Study (all together now) (Nuit Blanche, 2007), It was a nice party (Dancemakers, 2008), The Most Together We’ve Ever Been( INK (Pula, Croatia), 2009), and TWOBYTHREE (Dancemakers, 2010).[4]
