Inaruwa is the headquarter of Sunsari district of Nepal. It is a municipalicity located almost at the central part of Sunsari district. It is well known among the people of Sunsari as it is the centre for all governmental offices, it has one of the biggest paper industry and also for the vegetables cultivated by local people called "Koiri's". It is a small town that is faciliated by East West Highway and is connected by road transport to other developed areas like Itahari, Dharan, Duhabi and Biratnagar. It is connected to capital city by the same East West Highway.
