Qasim Jerry (born 27 February1994) is an Pakistani Photographer who has appeared mainly in Social media. He was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, and decided when young that he would become an photographer. As a student at Islamia College, Lahore, he took part in ZeeQs Production. After graduation, he briefly worked as a photographer and then as a movie maker presenter.

Early life and background[edit]


Jerry was born on born (27 February1994) in Lahore (now pakistan),[2] into a family of Malik Awan ,[a] a community originating in the former Badami Bagh, Lahore .[4][5][6] HIS mother Nayaz Parween was the Teacher of AL MADINA HIGH SCHOOL, LAHORE, and his father Shahid Mahmood was having personal Business. His elder sister, Madiha, works for AMHS.[7]


Islamia College Civil Line, Lahore, where jerry graduated.[8][9] He first wanted to be an painter when he was five years old,[10][11] often dressing up and imitating photographing during his childhood.[10][12] he later recalled being inspired by Ansel Adams, explaining that "the country was really proud of him, and I was like, one day, I want to do the same".[13]

Despite her interest in photography from an early age, Jerry was undecided on which career path to take until watching Ansel Adams photo-shoot (2001) while at college. he stated: "I guess it was when I watched Ansel Adams photo-shoot ... I pretty much knew. I had to find a way. I had to do something like that, something completely transformational."[17] In 2005, Jerry began a painting career he worked for two and a half years.[12] he was featured in several photographer and video maker for products.[18]

Around the same time, Jerry began going to auditions for photographing shows. he was chosen to Full Circle, an international travel show that aired 2006 and 2008.[11] The show took him to countries all over the world, including DUBAI, PARIS, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.[19] Jerry later claimed that it was a good learning experience, stating that he was "glad things happened the way they happened. I needed to be rejected, and I needed to learn that it's part of the game... I can have 100 rejections, but I'm sure there's going to be one particular thing that is almost destined for me to have."[20]
