Farview Avenue is one of the main streets in Paramus. It starts at the intersection of Passaic Street and Rochelle Avenue, where it continues into Rochelle Avenue, and ends at the intersection of East Ridgewood Avenue and Passack Road, where it continues into Passack Road. It crosses with many of the other main streets in Paramus, such as Passaic Road, Pleasant Avenue/Plaza Way, Spring Valley Road, Century Road, East Midland Avenue, and East Ridgewood Avenue. It offers a bridge to Route 17 and Route 4, a route to the Ridge Ranch Elementary School (345 Lockwood Drive) by turning at Circle Drive or Arnot Place, a route to the Midland Elementary School (239 West Midland Avenue) by turning at East Midland Avenue, a route to the Stony Lane Elementary School (110 West Ridgewood Avenue) by turning at East Ridgewood Avenue, a route to the Paramus Main Library (116 East Century Road) by turning at East Century Road, and a route to the Charles E.
