How embarrassing, my page hadn't been edited in about 5 years. Here's an update.
I am Psammead, named for the sand goblin in Edith Nesbit's Five Children and It. I am a Philosophy graduate, currently working a variety of non-philosophy related jobs. Born and brought up in the incredible county of Cumbria I'm a passionate proponent of all things Cumbrian.
Although I studied philosophy at uni my main interests are probably history and languages, and these are reflected by my Wikipedia contributions. I'm interested in Celtic languages primarily and the study of Cumbric is of particular interest to me. I've also contributed to a number of articles on my local area, as well as beginning the articles on the history and dialect of Cumbria.
