Shay Raviv (born Israel, 1982) is a contemporary musician and the founder of Violet Vision (together with Jonathan Dagan). He is a composer, songwriter, and producer. In addition to his work with Violet Vision, Shay is a composer and has worked on film scores. He has also worked as a music supervisor for film and TV and continues to write and produce songs.

Violet Vision

Shay Raviv began his career with the album First Sign of Communication (2001), which won an award as one of the top 5 albums of the year in 2001 in Israel. With this album Shay Raviv became a well-known name in the Israeli music scene and abroad. At age 17, he was signed to a three-album recording deal with BNE Records, starting with First Sign of Communication. At that time, BNE Records was a major producer of electronic music. Their main acts were Infected Mushroom, Cosma, Space Cat and Violet Vision.

Shay is currently composing the score for the movie The Chicago 8 with Peter Bateman. Shay is also the music supervisor for the movie.
