THE ORGANIZATION AND SYMBOLS edit

PINEAPPLE – ORANGE FOUNDATION, INC (POFI) in the Philippines has existed more than a decade as domestic and non-profit corporation. Since November 22, 2001 when it was registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission, it has organized seven(7) chapters all throughout the country. Like the legacy from the late POFI asset provider MODESTO A. ANCHETA and the Heritage Trust Funds for the Humanitarian Projects of the Foundation(POFI). Presently, the majority of the INCORPORATORS, MEMBERS, and BENEFICIARIES are Filipinos which should come at no surprise being that the beginning of the foundation was started right here in the Philippines last November 22, 2001 along with its sister foundation in Florida, USA registered last February 26, 2007 with Diane Rice – President, Director; Philip Paul Macnak – Secretary, Director and Arsenia T. Gargoles – Director, Florida, USA and POFI President and Chairperson - POFI Philippines. In fact, the name was originated and conceived with the idea that Pineapple-Orange Foundation, Inc. will one day show to the world the fruits of their labor with the symbol of 3 pineapples coming from the Philippines and 5 oranges coming from the United States, Likewise, the second symbol of cooperation of these organizations comes from the shaking of hands and the flags of the Philippines and the United States as we together aim a well, sound and healthy society.
