PhDHistorian is the former username for a middle-aged man who has recently earned a PhD in British History.
His 2006 PhD dissertation was entitled: "Jane the Quene": New Evidence and New Perspectives on Lady Jane Grey, England's Nine-Days Queen. That dissertation has been re-written as a book and is scheduled for publication in 2009.
He has, however, withdraw from participation in the Wikipedia "community" because of Wikipedia's policy of open-editing, a policy which he believes has rendered Wikipedia largely untrustworthy and essentially useless as an authoritative reference work.
