Peter J. Wamono is a pastor, church planter, worship leader, singer/song writer and businessman. He was born in a town called Mbale in eastern Uganda, both parents were teachers. His family was poor and as Peter says, he grew up wearing air-conditioned clothes. If you do not know what those are, they are raggedy old clothes, when you run the wind blows right through you.
He travelled with the world renown Watoto children’s choir on their world tours to raise awareness and support for Uganda’s AIDS orphans as chaperone, singer, sound guy and team leader/pastor from 2003 to end of 2009. He then moved on and started a safari business (Border-Less Travel – http://www.borderless-travel.com), a company that takes tourists to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda’s national parks for safari holidays. He calls it his tent making work because it has been his primary church ministry support, like Paul the Apostle had tent making to support his ministry.
In 2014, Peter planted Musaale Church in his home town of Mbale. In 2016, he planted an extension compass in Soroti 60 miles north of Mbale. The church currently has a membership of about 350 between both meeting locations. Peter has a dream, that one day the church will build multiple thousand seater auditoriums and have tens of thousands coming in and celebrating Jesus together.
Presently, Peter lives in the United States and is exploring to plant another life giving church. He recently finished his first book which is a story of his life's journey following Jesus, traveling the world, meeting world leaders. Peter has been to 5 continents of the world. The book IDENTITY will be released May 2021. Peter is an avid blogger and regularly shares his devotions on his blog page https://lettheriverflow.godaddysites.com/
