Pete Draganic, Councilman, Seven Hills, Ohio

edit

Peter A. Draganic III was born July 8, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio[1] at Mt. Sinai Hospital to parents Peter Draganic Jr. and Palma (Speranza).

Pete is married to Lisa (Miller) with children Edward, Brittany and Peter IV. He currently resides in Seven Hills, Ohio with his family.

Occupationally Pete Draganic is a contractor, an occupation passed along by his father. He owns Central Diversified Contracting LLC, a company that deals primarily with commercial construction and service work.

Pete Draganic holds a patent for a fluid control device. The device is currently in production and Marketed by his company, Reflo Ltd.

Draganic moved away from contracting from 1991 through 1996 and had worked primarily and extensively as a bounty hunter, bail bondsman, private investigator and auto repossessor. All of which are professions that are loosely tied together. Draganic made a return to contracting in late 1996 although he still did occasional work as an investigator and even some later auto repossession work.

It is estimated that Draganic arrested about 700 felons through 13 states while working as a bounty hunter.

Draganic was shot and nearly killed, suffering a severed femoral artery, while trying to apprehend a fugitive out on bond. The shooting took place Friday July 13, 1992. Draganic was shot by Peter Simon, who then fled to Florida and was killed by police officers there, only days after shooting Draganic[2].

Although it did not deter him from continuing his work in the field of fugitive recovery (bounty hunting), it was not long until he became licensed as a bail bondsman and would become far less active in the apprehension of fugitives.
