Giuseppe di Lucca was born on 11th January of 1965 in Pomigliano d'Arco, to the industrial outskirts in Naples. It knows the Blues when he had the age of 11 years. The heat and the sensuality of John Lee Hooker they immediately address him toward the purpose of his life. From that moment he begins to study and to play the guitar. In 1984 it frequents the seminars of Umbria Jazz and it plays with Curtis Fuller, George Adams and Pennie Richmond, the following year is chosen for playing in the Big Band of Umbria Jazz, it opens the concerts of Art Blakey and Jazz Messengers and of Stevie Ray Vaughan, it wins a scholarship in America to study to the Beerklee school in Boston. Thanks to important teachers as Kevin Eubans, Jim Kelly, Al De Fino, Larry Monroe and Orville Write it develops a valuable instrumental technique and a great harmonic knowledge,but above all it learns that the music is the expression of the mind. He returns in Italy in 1988 and in 1990 it decides to found a Rock-blues band: "Hell's Cobra Blues Band". Currently he is developing a new project : "Eagles Rainbow." After a long mess-tin that brings him to turn all the regions of Italy, it decides to engrave a CD that has the taste of the life lasts sort in these years believing in the true value of the music. In 1997 is pubblished "Living On The Road" that contains re-arranged and original track that underline the various collaborations that Peppe O' Blues has had in Italy and in his numerous trips in the United States. Musicians of world fame have wanted him with them, among which: Buddy Miles, Otis Rush, Junior Wells, Michael Coleman, Sugar Blue, Shirley King, Sammy Fender and Sharon Clarke In 2000 goes out the second album called: "In The Name Of Love" that contains only original track;exception for a homage that Peppe has wanted to do to one of his great passions: Jimi Hendrix. He Plays in the most important club of Italy and to the important and great Festivals;He has opened the concerts of Charlie Musselwhite, Canned Heat and Tommy Castro, creating a very original sound: great fusion of Blues, Rock Funky but also of Southern Rock, Hip Hop, Psicadelia together to excellent musicians as Carlo Coni (bass guitar). Peppe is crossing a very personal road, his show live are rich of strength and energy. Always available and ready to the comparison with all the musicians it tries to increase his knowledge and experience to reach best results.
