Art Silber or Arthur L. Silber


Silber, 77, was formerly president and CEO of Baltimore’s Sterling Bank and Trust Co., a small firm that specialized in banking services for affluent customers. He retired in 1995. The bank merged with the Bank of Maryland in 1999. Silber said his family also has a real estate company. He purchased the Potomac Nationals franchise in 1990 when it was called the Prince William Cannons. His daughter, Lani Silber Weiss, is the team’s longtime president and chief operating officer.[1]
