The 2024 Northwoods League season is the 30th season of collegiate summer baseball in the Northwoods League since its creation in 1994. There are 26 teams, split into two divisions and four sub-divisions. The regular season began on Memorial Day (May 27, 2024) and will end on the 2nd Saturday in August (August 10, 2024). The playoffs take place the week after, starting on that Sunday (August 11, 2024) and ending usually on Friday (August 16, 2024).
The season itself is broken into two halves, with the winners of each half in each of the four sub-divisions playing against each other to determine a sub-divisional champion in a best-of-three series. The sub-divisional champions then meet in a winner-take-all game to determine a divisional champion. The divisional champions then meet in a winner-take-all game for the league championship.
The Green Bay Rockers entered the season as defending champions, having defeated the St. Cloud Rox, 4–3, in the league's 2023 championship game.[1]
