pelicanwind is the long time handle of brian o'connor. it is short for "pelican flying into the wind." brian holds a Ph.D. in information studies, a master's degree in fine arts (film production) and an AB in Greek & Latin Literature he works as an academic in visual thinking and builds & paddles kayaks in SCS #16.
