Peggy Papakosta is a corporate and political communications expert. With 12 years of public affairs experience in the private sector, her portfolio includes a major tech company, an airline, an aerospace industry, a private University, a Prime Minister, a leading political party, several politicians. In the past, she has worked for the US company Carlson Marketing (now rebranded as Aimia [1]) as Manager in charge of accounts Eurostar and KLM. Papakosta is currently the Accounts Director of WhiteTowerMedia [2] working with a number of commercial and political clients. She is also the Director of NGO Forum2020. She has also held public office positions in the Department of Energy and Commerce of the Greek Government (now renamed Ministry of Development, Competitiveness, Infrastructure, Transportation and Networks[3]). During that time, Greece aimed at becoming the energy hub of Southeast Europe and the pipelines of ITGI (Turkey–Greece pipeline and Greece–Italy pipeline), Burgas–Alexandroupoli pipeline and South Stream were designed and partly constructed. As Head of the Department’s Press Office, Papakosta participated in all high-level meetings, was responsible for devising and implementing the communications strategy and was in charge of all media contacts. One of her articles regarding the geopolitics of energy was published in the Economist and is a reference of independent source in the English Wikipedia. She holds an MA in International Communications and Development from City University [4], a BA in European Studies and Politics from Bradford University [5], studied International Relations and Diplomacy at Georgetown University [[6]] and Politics at the Institute of Political Studies in France.
