I am a bibliographer, librarian, printing historian, writer and typographer living and working in the Oxford area (UK). I have specialized in the study of private presses and printing processes, but have also written on architectural books and the Folio Society, and taught printing practice and history at the Bodleian Library between 2006 and 2015. I am currently editor of the Journal of the Printing Historical Society. In addition to subjects relating to books, printing and libraries, I take a serious interest in music (especially rock music), song-writing, English literature, Sherlock Holmes, role-playing games, ethics, satire and comedy.
