Seymour park in Moss Vale, NSW is a multi-purpose park. Originally it was an unfenced area of land with old growth ornamental trees which people walked their dogs in and children played with their families in the structured playground. Around 2014 it was fenced off down the middle of the park to accomodate a free off-leash area for dogs to run around since it was already attracting owners with dogs from the area who walked around with their unleashed dogs. Since then it has undergone further transformation with a playground upgrade and new toilet facilities. The old playground on Lovelle Street was removed and rezoned as part of the the new dog park and the new playground was built off Spencer Street which makes for more convenient and accessible access in that it is a busier street. http://SEYMOUR+PARK+MOSS+VALE+2019+DRAFT+MASTERPLAN

Physically the whole park is greater that 5 hectares. It has a large area for dogs to run free and another part for people to walk free of dogs. The children's playground and toilets have been rebuilt in 2020 and a carpark established infront. There are less formally developed carparks on the dirt or gravel on Lovelle Street and also on Spencer Street closer to Dormie House. There are some picnic tables both inside the dog park and the park areas https://www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/facilities/parks/seymour-park-moss-vale.
