I'm Dan Pargeter. I live in the UK. I've been a wikepedia browser and occasional editor since 2006 although my wiki name has changed several times - it's one of my windows on the world. I've made a number of small articles about things that interest me especially relating to medical sociology, the sociology of science, and general sociology. I spend time reading articles by others - and following debates at the village pump so that I can learn to be a better wikipedian. I have a disability that means I can't be as sociable or as interactive as I would like, so I stay close to home and focus only on what interests me.
