Pear Eyes is an ambient, glitch, idm, "post-pop" duo comprised of married couple Jen Allensworth and Shawn Shackelford.
Together they also run international net-label "Go Zombie Records", and work from all over the United States. Pear Eyes began in late 2006, by Jen Allensworth, soon after, the project was also adopted by then-fiancee Shawn Shackelford a.k.a. electronic idm artist, "Renegade Android", and together they formed "Pear Eyes".
Shawn has been a prominent figure in the idm genre since 1999, making music under the aliases "Renegade Android", "Unseelie" and "Digita'lis/Phlox" (with friend and fellow musician Erich Ward). Jen is new to the electronic scene, and is the creative genius behind Pear Eyes. Jen is also the artistic visionary behind Go Zombie Records, creating much of the art for both the label and the artists it carries. Raised classically, Jen began her music career as a concert violinist at the tender age of five years old, and continued to broaden her musical horizons, branching out to play the Clarinet, the Piano, and eventually moved into the electronic scene at nineteen.
Shawn & Jen were married in 2008, and continue to produce music both together, and separately.
