This is me. Paul. I started out intending to make huge contributions and got bogged down in minor edits (major to some it seems). This is my second user (the first is gone, no sock-puppetry here) on the English Wiki.
My specialisations (in real life) are Mathematics, Statistics, Molecular Biology, Linguistics and Religion which as is immediately obvious are intimately connected (attribution required). My main interest at the moment though is genus Bombus which is at risk here in the UK where I live, very recently from drowning[1].
My great wiki idea of the moment is an edit script that will add to the IPA (on pages where it is given) the proper pronunciation of the letter 'o' rather than the US version, which is after all only a recently evolved dialect.
