Alexander Nikolayevich Raikov (born February 10, 1951, Moscow) — the specialist in the fields of strategic management, artificial intelligence, expert-analytical technologies, situation centers. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, State Advisor of the Russian Federation of the 3rd class; The Winner of the Russian Federation Government Award in Science and Technology.

Biography edit

Alexander N. Raikov was born in Moscow in the military officer’s family. In 1955—1968 lived in the town of Kapustin Yar-1. After graduated the secondary school in 1968 he entered and in 1974 graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, specializing in radio-physics and electronics, received qualification of engineer-radio physics.

Prior to 1993, Dr. Raikov developed automated control systems for the Russian Government, working in the Research Institute «Voskhod» of the USSR Ministry of Radio Industry.

In 1982 he received a science degree «Candidate of Science».

In 1993 he received a science degree «Doctor of Science», from 1995 — professor.

In 1992—1999, he was the head of the Information-Analytical Department of the Russian President Administration.

In 1996—1999, he was the coordinator of the Russian Presidential Situation Room (Situation Center). Since 2000, President of the non-profit partnership for research and social development Analytical Agency "New strategies, " General director NSA Ltd. Professor of the Department of Intelligent Technology and Systems of the Moscow Technological University, Leading researcher of the Institute of Control Sciences V.A. A.Raikov is the Expert of Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Russian Science Foundation, Ministry of Education of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and others.

He is the member of dissertation councils in the fields of technical and political science.

Since 2000, under the scientific and organizational leadership of A.N. Raikov implemented about 100 projects for: the Russian Presidential Administration, Ministry of Education of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Mayor of Moscow, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District (Yugra), the Republic of Kazakhstan, a number of enterprises and organizations, and science cities Fryazino and Korolyov. Head of research grants of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.

He is an author of over 350 scientific papers, 6 books, 9 patents in the field of strategic management, information and analytical technologies, situation centers, decision support systems, network expertise (e-expertise). He is the member of the editorial boards of the «Information Society» (Russia), «Management of the Metropolis» (Russia), «Journal of Mathematics and System Science» (USA). He is able to apply unique technologies and techniques:

  • Convergent management and decision support;
  • Creation of network of expert and analytical systems;
  • Moderation of strategic meetings in the situation center;
  • Cognitive and evolutionary modeling.
