The Pushkar Fair is one of the most attractive festivals in Rajasthan. It is one of the most famous and largest camel fairs in the world. It was organized between 28th October 2017 and 4th November 2017. It was a major tourist attraction. The vibrant culture of Rajasthan is reflected in this festival celebrated with Rajasthani music, dances, food and competitions besides allowing tourists enjoy the beautiful golden sand dunes in Rajasthan. The beautiful looking camels at their best were paraded around for all tourist to see their colorful lovely clothing, jewellery, silver bells, bangles and other ornaments. There was a Camel Beauty Contest and camels races organized. There were musicians, dancers, acrobats, magicians, snake charmers, rides and food stalls to entertain the tourist. The festival highlights were temple dancing, folk and classical music, and arts and crafts bazaar. It was worth witnessing the mustache competition where menfolk competed for the Best Mustache Award. There were tour companies which offered hot air-balloon flights over Pushkar. It was possible to see the view of the camel fair from up in the sky, in a hot air balloon. An International Hot Air Balloon flights was also organized during the fair. Paramotoring, quad biking were also some of the best adventure activities.
