"spectacular tide in the QianTang River." What does this mean? --BrokenSphere 04:52, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
The tide in the QianTang River, also named Zhengjiang Tide or Haining Tide or Qianjiang Tide,is formed due to the gravitation of the moon. The tide comes twice a day while on August 18th of Chinese calendar, there is the biggest one. From 1994 on,there has been a International Tide-Viewing Day in Yanguan Haining China.
Its periodicity and power make itself a marvelous wonder.
