Décidée was an ocean-going gunboat of the French Navy. She was the second ship of the Surprise class.

Design and construction

Designed for use overseas, she was used largely in the French colonies in Indochina and the Pacific. 1 propeller - 13 knots condamnée le 1er juillet 1931 and was rigged as a barquentine The long journeys were often made under sail. bunker quantity 74 tons of coal

History

1900 to 1913 in Saïgon, China (including on the Yangtze) and Japan, 1914–1917 in Indochina, 1917 to Lebanon, 1919 defense of Mersin, 1920 to Oran; 1922 out of service


11.1889: Army for tests.

07.07.1900: From Lorient to the Far East. 1900-1913: Saigon, China, Japan.

05.1901: Reconnaissance of the Yang-Tsé and sends a detachment in junk to the Niou-Koutan [Niu-kou-tan?] rapid, 56 nq upstream from Yichang.

1905: Yangtze station.

04.1906: Replaces the Olry in Nanchang for the protection of Christian missions. 1914-1917: Indochina.

1917: Côtes du Liban (Naval Division of Syria).

18-19.06.1919: Participates with the armored cruiser Ernest Renan and the Bambara in the defense of Mersina. See Cilicia Campaign.

1920: Squadron of patrols in Oran.

1922-1931: Pontoon at the TSF School in Toulon.

07/01.1931 : Condemned and to be handed over to the Estates in Toulon
