Natasha Hadiza Akpoti (born 9 December 1979)[2] is a Nigerian barrister, social entrepreneur and politician. She ran for the post of senator for Kogi Central Senatorial District under Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the year 2019.[3][4][5][6] She contested in the 2019 Kogi State gubernatorial election which was held on 16 November 2019.[7] she joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in March 2022[1]. She won the PDP primaries for the Kogi state central senatorial district[2] but that victory was challenged by her contender Adamu Atta and in November 2022, an appeal court upheld Natasha Akpoti -Uduaghan’s victory, affirming her as the candidate of the PDP in that senatorial district[3]
