I grew up in Valley City North Dakota where I attended Valley City State University. I was married to my beautiful wife Dorinda in 1987. We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in June! We moved to the Twin Cities shortly after we were married where I attended Brown Institute. I am very proud of my education at Brown Institute. I achieved a 3.94 G.P.A. and graduated with honors.

Dorinda and I live in Andover Minnesota now where we own a home and are busy raising a family. We spend a lot of time together as a family. We enjoy activities at our church, camping, traveling, movies and of course going out to eat. I have been playing guitar for ~25 years. While guitar is my primary instrument, I also play the drums, bass guitar and tinker with many other instruments. I enjoy making music and currently play with my church band. Over the years I’ve been in several other bands. My guitar of choice is the Fender Stratocaster and I play it exclusively. I enjoy playing R&B and classic rock.

My Professional Background Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to be employed by only 2 companies! Honeywell for 11 years and currently Park Nicollet Health Services where I’ve been for over 8 years. In the beginning of my career at Honeywell I specialized in CAE Automation. I programmed in C and UNIX shell script. Eventually I was hired at Honeywell as a Sr. UNIX Systems Administrator. In this capacity I served as the company resource in UNIX systems programming. I began applying my programming skills to CGI, Perl, JavaScript, Coldfusion and other types of web programming. I pioneered the web environment at Honeywell and in 1995 the Application Development Group at Honeywell hired me as the primary web developer and web server administrator. In 1999 I joined Park Nicollet as Web Manager and Sr. Web Architect.
