I was born in 1955, and have a journalistic background. I have mainly written about science and technology for professionals in specialized technical magazines. My native language is Danish. I have lived in England, Stroud, as a child, and have got family in both England and USA, so I have some writing skills in English, but not as good as in Danish. With regards to Wikipedia I have specialized in writing about many aspects of the infrastructure of the peninsula, Djursland, in Denmark. The place is surrounded by the Kattegat Sea to three sides with rarely more than 20 kilometers to the coast. I live next to the wood, Fjeld Skov, with plenty of wildlife – sometimes also in my garden. This can be a bit of a pest, when hungry deer eat the bark of my apple trees in winter, or nibble the tops of newly sprouted pea plants in spring. I try to illustrate my Danish and English Wikipedia-contributions with photos. As I write locally, it is often possible to get out and take subject-specific photos.
