José Antonio Latorre Beaskoetxea was a spanish footbal player who was borned in Zorrotza, Vizcaya, Spain in the 1th of December of 1941. He played in the forward position in the most of the teams he had played, but he also had played in the wing position.

Biography

When he was young he played in his neighbour team called Zorroza Football Club. Athletic Club of Bilbao signed up him when he was juvenile and when he was 19 he first played in the First League of Spain. He completed 7 matches and he scored one goal. In 1961, when he was 20 he played 16 matches and he scored 3 goals. In the season 1963/64 he scored only a goal but the goal was the 2000 for the history of the club in the 14th legue day against Real Valladolid in the 88 minute. The worst season for him as a player of Athletic Club of Bilbao, was in 1964 because he didn't play any match. He decided to go to Indautxu Footbal Club in winter to end the season. There, he played 11 matches and he scored 4 goals. When he arrived again in Athletic Club of Bilbao in 1965 he didn't play any match. And he moved to Sabadell Football Club for the next 3 years where he didn't scored any goal and he only played 900 minutes.
After this, he absolutly left football to work as a engineer for the next 30 years.
Besides this, he had been studying a carreer at the same time as he played football in professionals. 50 years ago, the football players didn't win as much money as now and they were obligated to work or study after their football carreer.
