NOLA Express edit
I am thrilled to have found in California and purchased an original copy of the NOLA Express issue pictured in the wikipedia article about the underground paper. I remembered the cover from wikipedia and recognized it in an ebay ad. I guess these papers are similar to blogs today where anything goes, but fortunately they are physical and semi-permanent. I am a fan of the artist who did the cover, and can't believe I can hold this paper from 1973 in my hands. Wonder if I could get the great poet then hippie to sign it.
