[1]Kabinè Kouyate, named Bifalo, born on 15-08-1981 in Bamako, Mali, today is a Dancer, Choreographer and Polytechnist.He is a descendant of one of the most important griot families in West Africa, and begins his very young career with his father Sekouba Kouyate and his mother Mariame Nango, who start him to the traditional music.His grandfather, Alfa Kabiné Kouyate, was one of Mali's biggest griot guitarists, and since childhood, Bifalo, he follows his grandfather in traditional ceremonies.So it begins to play the instruments typical of the mandeng tradition: Djembè, kammele'n'gonie djeli'n'goni djembè and drums bass. The first encounter with professional art was performed in 1994, in 2000 he danced for Haitiana Ketly Noel choreographer at the Espace Donko Seko Center, taking part in the DANSE AFRIQUE DANSE festival in Bamako in 2001 to participate in the traditional dance biennial of Mali, in 2006, participates in the tamam festival of Bamako, in 2007 he plays in the Percussion de Wassoulou of Master Sega Sidibe. During his career he has worked at The Ballet Kantigiya, The Troupe Babemba, Compagnie Bakalama, studying with internationally renowned masters such as Jean Coulibaly, Makan Koné soloist of the Ballet District of Bamako, Boua Moulaye Traore, Karim Togola, Siaka Doumbia, Mamadou Kante, Karim Coulibaly, Sega Sidibe, Hamed Fofana, Malal N'diaye. Participate and win (as best dancer) at various competitions in Bamako, Gao, Tombuctu, Sikasso, Koulikoro, Kaye, Kidal, Segou Mopti, Sokodé (Togo), Dakar (Senegal). First percussionist of Sandro Joyeux (Italy). He currently lives in Italy and holds percussion and dance seminars in different countries in Campania, Umbria, Lazio and Sicily. There are several contributions from the schools with dance and percussion workshops. As soon as he started his first collaborations with the Rome Dance Academy.
