History

edit

The Weatherman Umbrella was developed by founder and CEO Rick Reichmuth, Chief Meteorologist at Fox News Channel[2]. After years in the field, and buying and testing hundreds of umbrellas, Rick couldn’t find one that met his standards[3].

Models and features

edit

The Weatherman is wind-tunnel tested up to 55MPH and features TeflonTM-coated 210T 5-degree pongee fabric. It is available in Collapsible and Stick versions. An embedded tracker chip[4] utilizes the latest Bluetooth 4.1 technology for your smart devices to help locate your umbrella as well.[5]
