Sensei Shiranai No? (先生知らないの?, Don't You Know, Teacher?) is a Japanese television drama starring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi. It premiered on TBS on April 10, 1998. The story revolves around Yusaku Kinoshita, a former delinquent that was hired as an elementary school teacher to be in charge of class 5-2 and he tries to solve his students problems along the way.

Yusaku Kinoshita becomes a teacher for the first time at Asakusa East Elementary School located in Tokyo. He then introduces himself to the students of class 5-2 but to the students despising him due to Kinoshita wanting to organize an activity to incoming new students. Due to his past life and some parents complaining about him to the principal, Kinoshita almost resigns but has the courage to get back up again and to lead his class. A student hits the food tray with a football but later apologizes to him. Kinoshita teaches a valuable life lesson to his students in the end.
2"The Students are Hanging Out?"

Kinoshita learns that one of his students Akane is in a relationship from an another class and hangs out together late at night. The parents take notice of this but Akane leaves the family's house and goes to her hometown to meet her grandmother. One day, Kinoshita goes home from school then Akane shows up infront of him realizing she didn't go to her hometown due to being scared travelling all alone. He lets her stay for the night then he founds out that Akane's mother only cares about her grades and not about her well-being and her crush understands her feelings more. Akane goes back home the next day and her parents goes into the school to complain to the principal. Kinoshita defends her and she says her true feelings to her parents.
3"Transfer Student"

A transfer student Nanako from Otsu, Shiga introduces herself to class 5-2. During social studies class, Kinoshita talks about her hometown and calls Nanako to discuss more about it but she cries much to his confusion. A day later, Nanako doesn't come up to school then the students believe that one of their classmates Aoi was the reason she didn't come since some presumably saw that Aoi bullied Nanako yesterday. Kinoshita, thinking that his students didn't bully her, tries to deep digger into Nanako's situation by going into her hometown to see what her past life was. It was later revealed to the class that Nanako didn't come to school because she misses her old friends from her hometown and feels lonely in her new school. Nanako later apologizes to the class and to Aoi.
4"School Ghost Stories?"

Four students sneak into the school at night to investigate about a "ghost story" surrounding the school. Kinoshita and Nakamura notices about this and decides to scare them. While visiting his students house, he notices that one of his student's grandfather was the vampire in a movie he watched as a kid. The next day, the class makes a proposal to wander around the school at night but the girls object to this idea. Kinoshita accepts this idea, but the girls wanted to scare the boys and asks Kinoshita to help them. Kinoshita had an idea and goes into his student's grandfather and asks him to act as a vampire again in the upcoming night but he declines. Kinoshita and the other teachers get ready for the night to scare the boys but to his surprise, the student's grandfather showed up. He later thanks him for coming and the grandfather gives him an autographed script of the movie.
