Noel Patane (december 31, 1967, Northampton, MA-April 25, 1995, Northampton, MA) was an insane ten year old due to problems with her life.

Noel was born into a middle class family with a younger brother. When her brother would annoy her, she would grab a knife and threaten to kill him. After she would threaten him her parents would yell at her. In 1977, her parents cold not handle her because she became angry and went insane. She was only ten and put into the Northampton State Hospital.

During her time at the Northampton State Hospital she had planned an escape. Her family had stopped by March 17, 1985 to celebrate ST. Patty's day since they were part Irish. They went for a walk around the building. Noel was slowly getting better due to the psychotropic drugs the nurses give the patients. She sprinted to the nearest air port and flew to Belfast, Ireland a place where she had always wanted to visit.

In 1986, she had become an Irish step dancer by the name of Grace Reilly. For three years she had lived there until the police caught her and sent her back to Northampton State Hospital.

By April 25, 1995, she had died by killing herself brought by the increase of insanity and lack of psychotropic drugs. A year later, August 1996, Northampton was closed forever and Noel Patane remains wandering the halls.

Silly teenagers who go there say that you can hear the Irish folk music playing in her room and the taping of her shoes. This is one of the many haunted asylums of NJ.

The person that wrote this is clearly retarded. There is God awful grammar and a Massachusetts hospital could not possibly be in NJ.
