Noah
editPhotographer and Writer
editNoah is an avid outdoorsman, photographer and writer. From the time he could hold a camera, Noah has enjoyed sharing with others the world as he sees it. His first adventures behind the lens of a camera took place when he photographed reptiles and amphibians that he would rescue from being run over by passing cars. He realized then that he was able to find beauty in creatures that many people simply considered ugly or frightening. Noah had discovered an outlet for his creativity and he has gone through life with a camera by his side ever since.
From the natural splendor found in the most remote areas of wildlife to the structural majesty of the big city, Noah is always on the lookout for the perfect shot. He was born in New Orleans and raised in the beautiful landscape of Mississippi, and has found many topics for his lens in this familiar territory. But, it was when he traveled around the world to study the visual beauty of Japan that Noah fulfilled his dream as an artist. Through this experience, Noah was able to see first-hand a place he had always loved and share his passion for the rich culture and history of that country through the photographs he captured.
In addition to his photography, writing is another way that he connects with his audience to share his love of the outdoors and wildlife. Through prose, poetry and essays, he is always finding new ways of expressing images of nature and the outdoors. He is influenced heavily by the writings of Henry David Thoreau, who he believes to be one the greatest outdoor writers ever lived.
When not traveling or working in his position as an engineering technician for NASA, Noah enjoys spending time in the outdoors on hiking and camping trips with his two dogs. He also is a constant student of the art of photography as well as writing, and strives to become an even better storyteller to those who view his work.
