Nik Hewitt

Nik worked for 8 years in film and television, and another 12 in digital strategy, SEO, PPC, and information delivery. Nik was awarded a Masters Degree in Experimental Film (majoring in new production techniques for the internet) from Sheffield Hallam University.

For 6 years he worked as New Media Specialist for the Daily Mail and General Trust, producing award winning projects in subjects as diverse as green living, property, tourism, and obituaries. His children's educational site, Headline History, won an Interactive BAFTA at the 2003 BAFTA Interactive Awards and a People's Choice Award at the 2005 Webby Awards. In 2008 he was part of the Newspaper Society Digital Team of the Year. He currently works for Tank PR [1], in Nottingham, as digital strategist and social media manager.

Nik is half of the 'Yank & Limey' [2] podcast team, with his former colleague Aliza Sherman.
