Ne’illa ("neh-illa" - alien spelled backwards with an extra L for loyalty), is an aspiring artist; his music, which is a combination of hip-hop, soul, classical and world music comes from his self-learned philosophies

Like many, he did not have the benefit of being taught at a prestigious university where a higher form of education could be attained. Undeterred, he chose to educate himself with the works of Frederick Nietzsche, Malcolm Gladwell, Robert Greene, and Malcolm X amongst others.

Early life

edit

As a child, he thirsted for knowledge, yet the urban school system did not have the resources that would quench that thirst. Instead, he snuck into the libraries of the University of Southern California, so he could pick up, books at random, read 20 or 30 pages, then chose to keep reading or find another book that interested him.

Philosophy

edit

Many of the great minds he's encountered via books, conversations, and just at random have produced a unique sound. Also, assisting in developing an approach to life that he incorporates into his music, his philanthropic efforts and his soul; he considers himself a student of everyone from Sun Tzu to Alexander the Great, to Ghandi.

What they have fostered within me is a drive to not only provide a better education for downtrodden school children who learn that there are no boundaries to their lives, but to also foster communication between parents and teachers through collaborative efforts and music to build a positive sense of responsibility and self-worth.

I know that I have much to give the world through my music and philosophies regarding children that can build understanding, positivity, and unlimited potential while still entertaining all. I look forward to hearing from you. Hope the day has been great.
