Nicolas Tang Tze Hao (Chinese: 董智豪; pinyin: Dǒng Zhìháo, born 1976 in Singapore) is a Singapore lawyer.

From 2001 to 2005, he was an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group of Drew & Napier LLC where he trained under Senior Counsel Davinder Singh. In 2005, he relocated to Hong Kong to join the International Finance Group of Sidley Austin. In 2011, he returned to Singapore and joined the Corporate and Securities Group of Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow. In 2013, he joined Flextronics as Corporate Counsel. In April 2015, he started Farallon Law Corporation, a Singapore law practice focusing on litigation and dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and investment funds.

Early Life

Nicolas was born to a Teochew family. The eldest of three children, he was educated at German Swiss International School, Catholic High School (under the Special Assistance Plan), and Hwa Chong Junior College. After national service, he attended the University of Nottingham in 1997 where he studied law, graduating with Second Class (Upper) Honours. He returned to Singapore in 2000 to obtain a Diploma in Singapore Law from the National University of Singapore.

Nicolas is qualified to practice law in Singapore, England and Wales, Hong Kong and New York. His corporate and finance experience includes advising and representing financial institutions, issuers, government linked companies, telecommunications, upstream oil & gas exploration and production, private equity funds, downstream petroleum and petrochemical refining, mining, logistics, manufacturing and infrastructure clients in Asia (Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Tokyo), Australia, Europe (Amsterdam, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, London, Russia) and the United States.
