Tantalus edit
Tantalus first appears in Final Fantasy IX as a theatre troupe doubling as a thieves' band and plays a significant role throughout the plot of the game. In Final Fantasy XII a woman in the city of Archades mentions the existence of a performance troupe called The Mummers of Tantalus. The Tantalus Theatre Troupe has also been mentioned in the Nintendo DS remake of the first Final Fantasy.[1]
