Eembidi village

Eembidi is a small village located at the north of Namibia, the name comes from the the wild dogs that used to be at that place before Independence, the village was proclaimed as a settlement in 1923 before independence.The village is too small and there are about 15 homesteads. people live traditionally and they depend on crops and animals for their survival.The village contains mostly old aged people and they are bound to their traditions, that is the reason that make it to be ruled traditionally. Most people in Eembidi village are not educated due to the fact that there is no motivation of education in that village and most of people who lives there are kids who were rejected by their parents to be raised up by their grand parents.

Trade

The villages hosts many trading practices like batter system. for example if a member of the village have millet can give to someone who does not have. there are also shebeens but mostly people sells alcohol and basic needs.

Infrastructures

The village is situated east of Eenhana the most known and capital city of Ohangwena region but it is in the bushes, there are no roads not even gravel roads, no hospitals and no schools for this reason alone people travel long distances to finds infrastructures. Eembidi have plenty of water but this water are not clean.
