Oshakati Senior Secondary Sschool

Oshakati Senior Secondary School is a school in the town of Oshakati, Iipumbu yaShilongo street, in Oshana Region, northen Namibia. It was established in 1973.It has 34 class lists and uncountable learners and teachers.The word Oshakati means in between in oshiwambo language.

General It celebrated it's 35 universally reunion in 2008.The ministry of Trade and Industry, that time madam Teopolina Mushelenga was the patron of the reunion. She was the former learner at this school in Oshana region. Many former learners of Oshakati SS around the world came to celebrate the Anniversary. The principal of Oshakati SSS Mr. Jacob Kashupi retires in 31 June 2008.Now is Mr. Nakale running the school since January 2009.

You can’t imagine how good to study at this school. Being part of big family of that school, where everyone is encouraging you to do the right thing. People are friendly at that school. Learners at Oshakati SS are hard working andt every good thing on earth has to come from hardwork. I just come to experience it in 2005 when i went to school there.

The school has library and a laboratory. Books library where you can find books and study materials even he study tables. Science laboratory where teachers use to take learners to do the practical of science subjects.

Hostel The hostel of Oshakati SSS is always clean and tide. It has six hostel blocks three for boys A,B,C and three for girls D,E,F. Matrons and supervises are responsible to make sure that everyone did made up his/her bed when he wake up. Learners are responsible to clean their rooms and matrons to clean the rest of the hostel even toilets.
