I live in Taiwan where I teach English and maintain two websites: The Wild East, which is a collaborative blog styled as an online magazine focused on Taiwan and East Asia; and the Atherton Tableland Netguide, which is focused on North Queensland, Australia.
I grew up in Brisbane, Queensland, and I lived in North Queensland for 7 years. I spent spent some of that time living in, and caring for an important historical property, Loudoun House, which was originally the home of John Moffat, a mining entrepeneur who was important in the development of the tropical northern region of Australia.
