In the search for ghosts and spirits, M-Theory aka Super String Theory applies here and I'll tell you why. In science everything is matter or energy and made out of smaller stuff. Atoms become smaller as electrons, protons, and neutrons, and then quarks and then super strings. But these super strings while very very small vibrate at different frequencies in each parallel universe. In order to cross over or bleed over to a parallel universe the super strings have to be changed in their vibrations. Ghosts and spirits are really from a parallel universe were the dead go, but somehow their super strings got changed to vibrate at our universe's frequency.

Very much like radio stations, each universe fits in the same space and time but at a different vibration frequency. Ghosts and spirits seem to have the ability to change radio channels so to speak using the radio theory on how an AM or FM radio works. If we can discover how that happens we can then visit these parallel universes and prove that they exist and then solve some of this paranormal stuff as real and then solve Einstein's grand unification theory that he himself could not solve. I am sure if we do that the Large Hadron Collider can use the data to find the Higgs Boson as well.

In order to study spirits and ghost sightings we have to follow the scientific method and keep a neutral point of view not being a believer or skeptic but instead non-biased and neither a skeptic nor believer. The reason for this is that skeptics have a belief that if they cannot see or hear it that it does not exist, and that while a non-belief it interferes with the natural process of the scientific method as much as a belief in anything. If skeptics control all sciences it is just as bad as if believers control all sciences, we have to keep an open mind but also be neutral on any belief or non-belief. The non-belief can be a biased as much as a belief can and thus we should try to eliminate all bias possible for the best results of the scientific method. We cannot prove nor disprove anything until we set up a proper hypothesis to test and collect sample data and everything else and develop the methods and procedures to follow via the scientific method. Even then the results can be flawed in some way or be misleading or be correct but proven inaccurate or wrong later on by someone else. Just as Newtonian gravity was replaced by Einstein's model, so too can any scientific theory be replaced with a better more accurate one, this is how science works and anything else is developing into a religion or deep bias and bigotry towards other groups of people.

This is to help prevent the corruption of science by religion, skeptics, politics, governments, and other outside forces. Science needs to be reformed and many theories need to be thrown out or reviewed with a calculation of the margin of error on the statistics and sampling. If not we may be headed down the wrong paths towards a dark age so we need an audit of all scientific theories and explore all theories no matter how unbelievable to see if they have any merit or we can learn anything from them. We cannot let belief or non-belief bias our methods and process and the process and methods have to be able to be replicated by our peers. We also have to provide alternative explanations for ghost and spirit sightings like swamp gas, hallucinations, weather balloons, and the usual false positives.

We need to develop a fully scientific process to investigate these things. We will do so that this will lead to even more things being discovered or if not results, learning from mistakes and trial and error and then correcting to find out more. It is not the most perfect process, but if developed properly an effective one. Even if we never discover if ghost and spirits exist then at least we shall learn something from not finding them. Even no results can at least tell us something.

The process is very simple, based on a few logical assumptions. We know that there is no such thing as magic or mysteries, just science and that everything including ghosts and spirits must follow the natural laws of the universe. If a ghost or spirit glows in the dark we can thus deduce that by the laws of physics that it must be radioactive in some way. So when we collect samples we use a radiation counter or detector to find radioactive materials. We shall call such materials as echtoplasm. We assume it is left over from ghosts and spirits and if anything is not radioactive we can throw it out. If materials are not radioactive we can deduce they aren’t the samples we are looking for. Those samples that are radioactive are not automatically echtoplasm as there can be other reasons for being radioactive that we need to look into. But in order to figure this out we need a spectroscope and examine all radioactive samples to see if there is any matter that is not found on the periodic chart of elements.

Basically we can deduce that any echotplasm is made out of radioactive materials that are not man made, and have not been discovered yet. If we find such matter it may or may not be etchoplasm. We really aren’t sure what we can find but if we find it and record the frequency the radiation operates at we should be able to figure out the universal frequency that ghosts and spirits should work on. If successful we can create a modified radiation detector or radiation meter that only detects the frequency we find and if so then it should be able to detect other spirits or ghosts as they should work on the same frequency.

The theory here is that M-Theory or Super String Theory has super strings that vibrate at a different frequency for each parallel universe. Our universe exists at one frequency like a FM radio station, while another parallel universe such as a universe where spirits and ghosts go to vibrates at a different frequency. All the universes share the same space and time but like your FM band radio each universe has its own frequency or channel. Now we assume that ghosts or spirits somehow got the ability to change frequency and ended up in our universe. We may be mistaken and the ghosts and spirits are not what they seem, and not dead people but beings from another universe that got stuck in ours. Even so there should be matter and energy left behind as the law of thermodynamics has entropy and there should be some sort of evidence to collect and examine even if it is a ghost or spirit or even an inter-dimensional traveler.

Of course this is a lot of assumptions that could prove to be false later and we could be chasing false leads. Even if we never discover any ghosts or spirits or echtoplasm we will at least find new matter out of it if it has not yet been discovered. But if all else fails we can learn from our mistakes and reinvent the process and methods for detecting other stuff like dark matter, dark energy, the Higgs Boson, and other things we know from theory but have not yet proven. The Higgs Boson itself may even be in a state between matter and energy and the super strings change the vibration so quickly that it passes from our universe to a parallel universe before we can even detect it.

To make this even simpler invest in a normal radiation detector to only collect samples that are radioactive at the ghost or spirit sighting. That way you can screen out all false positives and get a more accurate reading. Then learn how a radiation detector works so you can modify one to only detect the universal ghost/spirit frequency you discover. It is really that easy and I am shocked nobody else even thought of this method or process before.

Anyway without proper testing I don't know if I am right or wrong on this stuff. We don't know what we are dealing with yet. It may or may not work. If I am wrong on something I can learn from my mistakes and correct things so they are right. This is also part of science and trial and error.

Even if you find nothing and don't get any results, at least you will have tried to get results and will learn from your mistakes how to correct for errors and other stuff. But basically if it isn't radioactive you don't want to collect it, but if it is radioactive collect it and use the spectrometer to see if it is some element that doesn't exist on the periodic chart of elements for chemistry.

If we ever discover a ghost, we need to develop an ethical and moral system of dealing with such an entity. Is it good or evil, is it suffering or someone’s loved one that got lost and needs to find the way back to where ever it needs to go or be reincarnated as another life form. Should we capture it and hold it, does it have rights and freedoms. Should we make a ghost court and give it a fair and unbiased trail? What if it is scrambled in some way and in pain and tortured. How do we help it?

Do we need to develop a system of capturing a ghost by absorbing the energy of the ghost? Do we need particle beams in the same frequency as the ghost to lasso it? In modifying the radiation detector would it also detect other things besides ghosts and spirits? Can it detect the Higgs Boson, dark matter, dark energy, or other things? What other practical uses can this theory, science, and technology be used for?

After a given amount of time if no spirit or ghost is detected and we cannot find any evidence of even echotoplasm we can give up the search and call it over and done. This does not necessarily mean that ghosts nor spirits exist or do not exist. But at least it should appear skeptics and believers to know we at least tried to find it and investigate it. Someone else or some other group can examine the data later to see if any errors or mistakes had been made. We can document the results and write a book on it. It can be taught in schools and colleges about how one goes about trying to detect such things, and that after so much time passed and nothing was found. That it was not a complete and total loss as even if a theory cannot be proven or disprove, the real importance was that we tried our best and learned better ways to try and find out this sort of stuff so others can pick up and try something else based upon it. The good thing is that it gives most people the peace of mind that at least someone or some group had tried to investigate it. While they didn’t find anything, at least a very good effort was made. Books can be written by people who read the reports and theories to create their fiction or humor stories and role playing games can use the ideas for campaigns and other stuff. So there should at least be something good gained from this investigations even if nothing turns up eventually.

Now the real reason why I threw in Ghostbusting and the search for Ghosts and Spirits is to draw attention to this issue and eventually get enough support to get funding to search for missing particles like the Higgs Boson, dark matter, and dark energy which the existence of may indeed cause human beings to see an effect that they perceive as a ghost or spirit but may actually be the missing particles we are looking for disturbing the de Sitter Space and causing this type of effect on our environment. If we manage to find any of this stuff while hunting down spirit sightings and ghosts, and we don't find any spirits or ghosts it may be the actual missing particles that advanced physics says exists but we can never seem to find.
