Nelson Jacobsen is married and live with his wife and daughters in American University Park , D.C.. Nelson is a past member of the Ward 3 Democrats in Washington, D.C. He served as a Democratic member of the Ward 3 Democrats Executive Committee where he served as the Finance Sectary and Finance Committee chairman. Currenlty CEO of Max Media Group, Inc. Nelson is very interested in Emergency Mangement and Emergency 2.0 #SMEM and served as a member of Mayor Williams & Fenty's Citizen Corps Council as well as original class from Serve DC - Train the Trainer and early member of DC's Community Emergency Response Team CERT's. Now running Help Earth Foundation which is an active member of Digital_Humanitarian_Network, ~~Will help to clean up DNN page~~[2]
Early life
editA graduate of University of Maryland, College Park, where he received a B.A. Economics degree/ His professional endeavors included serving as a member of the Bill Clinton Administration's Advance team. Nelson Jacobsen also put up Altavoz as one of the very early dotcoms back in 1995 to stream and download music. Prior it was on Digex in 1994 as one of it's first commercial clients. Nelson Jacobsen is also a Poet. [3]
