About me:
I was noticed about the very term computer or Information Technology when I was doing Advanced Level examination in my home town Padiyathalawa, in Ampara District. Few days later, the first computer to Padiyathalawa was bought by Mr. Laxman Kumarasiri who was my Mathematics teacher. He started a computer class with an instructor, Mr. Saman from Bibile. I was fortunately informed about this course from my beloved math teacher and participated. Anyway during my course I was actually confused about computer as a difficult subject which cannot be followed by a student learning in Art scheme for Advanced Level.
Later my mathes teacher was to go for a vacation somewhere and I was requested to stay in his home and take care of the premises. And also informed "you can practice the computer if you need."
I used to play games with computer. One day one of my friends came and asked to make a letter very urgently and though I said I can't he begged again and again. So I opened Microsoft Word and started doing it. That was a small letter with less than thirty words. Anyway it got more than two hours to me to complete it.
After my friend went, I thought how bad I am. Though I have completed a computer course I wasted more than two hours to type a mini letter. So I thought to practice Microsoft Word and stop playing games. However, After few days I was able to type same letter within one hour.
