On 14 May 2019, Taha announced the termination of his contract with Safa.[6] He joined Shabab Bourj for the 2019–20 season.[7] On 28 September 2020, Taha moved to Akhaa Ahli Aley.[8]

Eagles edit

On 25 March 2021, Taha joined Dhivehi Premier League side Eagles in the Maldives, during the 2020–21 season.[9][10] He played in the first preliminary round of the 2021 AFC Cup against Bhutani club Thimphu City, helping his team win 2–0.[11] Taha was named man of the match.[12] He saved a penalty in the league on 24 April, keeping a clean sheet in a 3–0 win against TC Sports Club.[13]

International career edit

Taha represented the national under-20 team at the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship qualification; he played against Oman in a 0–0 draw,[14] as well as against Qatar in a 0–4 defeat.[15] Taha was called up for the senior team in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifier game against Malaysia, on 13 June 2017.[16] While he was called up four more times during the qualifications, he didn't feature for the national team.[5]
