edit

Ohama yashuunda is a village situated at the southern side of Outapi, about 9km from the town, in Ombalantu, north part of our country. It is divided into four sub-village and this division is done by the main road. It is under the rule of the headman and Omusati governor.

There are about 250 houses and a population of about 700 people. It is a flooded village during rainy seasons. This follow this infrastructure of road construction. The village is not a grazing pasture because of too many houses, thus a large area is used up for building houses. There is a combined school where children from this village and neighboring village attend at that school and a church called Lutheran church. The village has also a SWAPO office where the residents do their elections and attend political meetings which was officially opened by comrade Hage Geingob in the year 2010.

Development in this village is coming up, such as electrification and construction of new clinic. According to the vision of the Omusati region by the year 2017 this village will be electrified. It is a safe village with low brutal activities, such as theft as well as suicidal activities.[1] [2] [3]
