It is quite difficult to find an article from a trusted source on the internet. One of the sources people usually step into is the Wikipedia. Wikipedia has been criticized for its unreliable and not backed up with evidence information. Although it has its down sides, Wikipedia can also serve as a place where we all can get basic and valid information to a certain extent. I found an article, “Artificial Intelligence” under Technology in Society that I will critique and give my point of view towards it. Artificial Intelligence article is about smart devices that recognizes their environment and reacts as to how they can exploit the chance of being successful in interaction with human beings and other indicated callings. It further discusses about new technologies and their benefits to individuals. These intelligent machines are built to processes different tasks from translating different languages to visual perception and speech recognition and many more. They also obtain the ability to perform activities that will assist human beings in their daily lives.

This article has used different foundations from multiple other sources to back up its content and create a firm and reliable ground to its readers. I have noticed that this article is a bit off point where it added different sub titles, which some are irrelevant and over represented as to the stated topic. It is somehow bulky and too detailed for that given title, which it would have been more interesting if it was more precise and had a clear cut. For the most part, the article appears unbiased, and it gives a good in depth information about artificial intelligence. It is noticeable that the article has no closing paragraph; rather, it went straight from the body to the notes and glossary with no summary. Although information regarding Artificial Intelligence article comes from an anonymous contributor(s), the material found on Wikipedia seems legit and reliable. The content of this material was modified on February, 2017, so the information listed is up to date.
