Long time Wikipedia user. Wrote a master's thesis on the social structure of Wikipedia article talk pages and avoided deep participation to maintain some distance to the research subject. Have supported Wikipedia for years as a consistent copy editor, correcting spelling, grammatical, punctuation, and syntactical errors. Recently decided to join the community more seriously.
